They are traditional in design but well proportioned. Exterior Killashee House was essentially a Victorian Jacobean hunting lodge built for the Moore family in 1861 and the original house is very pleasing on the eye. When the La Sainte Nuns started a preparatory school for boys in 1927, buildings were created that now form where the majority of the room accommodation is, whilst the original house has all the Suites, Restaurant, Bar and Reception.
